Two apps, one developer

Small, focused apps.
Built to actually finish.

TheForklift.dev LLC makes deliberately narrow tools: a word game platform with eight ways to play, and a screenshot triage app that does one job well. No bloat, no growth-hacked feature creep — just things worth shipping.

FlexWord Live on Reddit

FlexWord

One word game, eight ways to play: daily puzzles, an open sandbox, bot battles, a kids mode, and a Shakespeare spinoff. Live on Reddit now, iOS & Android in review.

CapSort Coming to iOS

CapSort

Your screenshot library isn't a photo library, it's a landfill. CapSort sorts it fast with one thumb gesture, and shows you exactly what leaves your phone before it does.

The story

Built by a forklift driver.

Age is just a data type. I'm Chris Webb, a warehouse worker Monday through Wednesday, indie developer Thursday through Saturday. I'm 59 years old, I operate a forklift for a living, and I build software with a little help from AI.

FlexWord started as a Wordle clone — the classic first project — and grew into an eight-mode word game platform because stopping at "clone" felt like a waste of the idea.

CapSort came from a much smaller irritation: a screenshot library with thousands of unsorted images and no fast way to deal with them. Apple's own crop tools are unreliable enough that people have leaked uncropped screenshots into Slack by accident — CapSort exists to make that mistake structurally impossible, not just less likely.

TheForklift.dev LLC develops and publishes both. This is what happens when you don't quit.
